As a small business owner, I often find myself working up to the very minute I pass out for sleep, and then work begins the very next morning the second my eyes open! I read a tip recently from Neen James, a wonderful woman who I had happened to meet the acquaintance of recently. And the tip goes like this: Spend the last few minutes of your day in closure, preparing for tomorrow and shutting everything down; and spend the first hour of your day starting yourself off on the right foot. I have started to use this tip in my own business life, and it is working great! I no longer feel rushed in the morning or frantic in the evening. For more great tips, see Neen James’ Website or read her book, Secrets of Super-Productivity: How to Achieve Amazing Things in your Work Life (available at Amazon).
